I remember as a child, I loved looking at gasoline-colored water in puddles. Those iridescent colors and shimmers seemed so beautiful, but… even as a child, I still felt a strange, inner repulsion.
The unnaturally bright colors and "beautiful" shimmers in my work are that very "gasoline" water, or, in other words, the chemical pollution that results from human activity on Earth.
In the digital era, the phenomenon of illusion has become an integral part of life and perception. At times, it is unclear where the line between the imaginary and the real lies.
