I remember as a child, I loved looking at gasoline-colored water in puddles. Those iridescent colors and shimmers seemed so beautiful, but… even as a child, I still felt a strange, inner repulsion.
The unnaturally bright colors and "beautiful" shimmers in my work are that very "gasoline" water, or, in other words, the chemical pollution that results from human activity on Earth.
